A cherry side chair built alongside the Pembroke drop-leaf table, finished with five coats of oil.
This chair was made at the same time as the drop-leaf table, sharing the same materials, leg design elements and contemporary-classic style. Unlike the table’s thick lacquer, the chair is finished with oil: 5 coats, wet-sanded with 400 to 600 grit paper while the oil is still wet, then a coat of paste wax and a final polish.
