A lumber yard owner gave me a piece of 3″ diamiter by 20 inch long dowel for free, because he did not know what kind of wood it is. Me neither, but one thing I am sure about this wood is it is super dence, super hard, super heavy.

I made severel pieces of small trades with this free lumber, it turns out to be super beautiful. It is some kind of rose wood, so the best finish method is bee’s wax.

the following shows three projects I made: a cigar stand, you can put you cigar on it so you don’t need to hold you cigar all the time; a key chain pendant, it is the simbol of the horde from game WOW; The last thing is a mallet, just a normal mallet, only used for carvings.
